Mabel Vega Obituary
New Bedford – Mabel Vega, 74, died Friday, March 15, 2019, at home. She was the daughter of the late Antonio Felipe and Maria Rosa Vega.
Born in Uruguay, she was a resident of New Bedford for many years. She was a homemaker.
Mabel enjoyed singing, dancing, going to the casino and playing the roulette wheel, as well as the lottery. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Maria Jose Vega and Maria Alejandra Vega; 3 sisters, Raquel, Gladys and Nena; 3 brothers, Carlos, Antonio and Ruben; and 5 grandchildren.
Visiting hours are 9 – 11 A.M., Wednesday, March 20, 2019 with a service at 11 A.M. at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery.
