Marek Pietrzyk Obituary
New Bedford - Marek Pietrzyk, 56, of New Bedford, died suddenly at home, Thursday, April 2, 2015. He was the husband of Urszula Sokolowska; they were married for 20 years.
Born in Warszawa, Poland, son of the late Ryszard and Eugenia (Bukatewicz) Pietrzyk, he emigrated in 1984 as a political refugee through Austrian camps to Oklahoma, and later moved to New Bedford.
A graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Economics, Marek worked as a computer technician. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his beloved wife, Ula.
