Fall River – Mark Despres, 59, died Thursday, October 17, 2019, after a long illness. He was the husband of Sharon A. (Wisniewski) Despres.
Born in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, the son of Janet S. (Glover) Despres and the late Henry G. Despres, he lived in New Bedford all his life. He was employed as a cook for various restaurants.
Mark enjoyed gardening and fishing. He also loved animals, especially dogs and cats.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; his mother, Janet; his grandson, Sammy; and his siblings, Christine, Julie, Virginia, and Michael.
