Mary Daggett Obituary

New Bedford - Mary C. (Paulette) Daggett, 85, died Friday, January 13, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospital.  She was the widow of Preston L. Daggett.
     Born in Medway, MA, a daughter of the late Annie (Pollard) Paulette, she lived in New Bedford most of her life.  She was employed as a shoe stitcher for Knapp Shoes until her retirement.
     Mary was a member of the American Goldstar Mothers, Inc.  She enjoyed Bingo and especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
     Survivors include 2 daughters, Cheryl Daggett and Pamela Daggett, both of New Bedford; 1 sister, Arlene Villiard of Franklin, MA; 2 grandchildren, Dawne Daggett and Ashley (Daggett) Fanning; 6 greatgrandchildren, Keifer Daggett, Brittany Daggett, Kobe Daggett, Ashanti Lozado, Liam Fanning and Kaleb Fanning; and 1 great-greatgranddaughter, Kiara Johnson.
     She was the mother of the late Sgt. Joseph R. Paulette and sister of the late Frederick Paulette, John Paulette and Elizabeth Guido.
     Visiting hours are 2 - 4 P.M., Saturday, January 28, 2017 with a service at 3:30 P.M. at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.  Burial is private.
