Miguel A. Acevedo Perez

Miguel A. Acevedo Perez, 85, died Friday, November 18, 2022 at Royal of Fairhaven Nursing Center. He was the husband of the late Ingracia (Morales) Acevedo Perez.

Born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, the son of late Ramon and Paula Acevedo, he lived in Puerto Rico for most of his life before moving to New Bedford 2 years ago. Miguel worked as a security guard for a telephone company until his retirement.

Miguel enjoyed playing the harmonica and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his sons, Jose, Julio, Ramon, Jorge, Elias, and Pablo Acevedo; his daughter, Marta Acevedo; 1 brother; 3 sisters; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

Miguel was predeceased by his son, Carlos Acevedo.

His visitation will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Machnowski Funeral Home, with a service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery, New Bedford.
