Nelson Rosa Obituary
New Bedford – Nelson Rosa, 55, died Friday, December 27, 2019 at home. He was the son of the late Liborio Rosa Cordero and Maria E. Acevedo Sanchez.
Born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, he lived in New Bedford most of his life. He was a carpenter.
Nelson loved music, singing, dancing and laughing. His favorite sports activities were basketball and running.
He is survived by a son, Nelson Enrique Rosa-Rosario; 4 sisters, Beatriz Rosa, Yolanda Rosa, Awilda Rosa, Luz E. Rosa; a brother, Luis Rosa-Acevedo; a niece, Janettsy Rodriguez; and several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 3 – 5 P.M., Saturday, January 11, 2020 with a service at 5 P.M. at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.
