Patricia A. Krouzek

Patricia A. Krouzek, 84, died Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Robert H. Krouzek.

Born in Acushnet, daughter of the late Edward and Bridget (Gwozdz) Kowalczyk, she lived in New Bedford before moving to Acushnet in 1967. Patricia was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church and the Veteran’s Memorial Committee in Acushnet. She was a secretary in the medical records department at St. Luke’s Hospital for many years until her retirement.

Patricia was an avid fan of the Boston Celtics and Boston Red Sox. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing and going to craft fairs and gift shops. She especially loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her two daughters, Sharon Sampson, and Jean Sewall and her husband, Wayne; her stepson, Robert Krouzek, Jr.; three stepdaughters, Virginia Trommer, Dolores Simpson, and Carol Krouzek; her brother, Robert Kowalczyk; her sister, Joann Ferry; three grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church, Acushnet. Burial will follow in Acushnet Cemetery.
