Rafael Ortiz Matos Obituary
Boston - Rafael E. Ortiz Matos, 40, died Friday, January 12, 2018 at home. He was the son of the late Rafael Ortiz Guzman and Maribel Matos.
Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, he lived in South Boston for several years. Rafael enjoyed going to the mall and places of entertainment with his daughter, Julimar, as well as spending time with his family. He was a great fan of baseball.
Survivors include his daughter, Julimar Ortiz Vazquez of Atlanta, Georgia; and Zoraida Ortiz Guzman of New Bedford, who raised him as a young child.
