Ramon Guzman-Serrano Obituary
New Bedford - Ramon Guzman-Serrano, 75, died Monday, March 28, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital. He was the former husband of Nilsa Fontanez Aristud.
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, son of the late Rufino Guzman and Lydia Serrano, he lived in New Bedford. He was employed as a roofer before his retirement.
Survivors include 2 sons, Job Guzman and Ramon Guzman, Jr.; 2 daughters, Odette Guzman and Lydia Guzman; 1 brother, Ricardo Guzman; 2 sisters, Ines Guzman and Isabel Guzman-Serrano and 6 grandchildren.
He was the brother of the late Daniel Guzman, Providencia Guzman deDiaz, and Hilda Guzman.
Private services are with Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Burial will be in Puerto Rico.
