Richard Glod

Richard Glod, 79, died Saturday, February 21, 2026, after a brief illness.

Born in New Bedford, son of the late Frank and Albina (Hamot) Glod, he lived in the city his entire life.

In his free time, Richard enjoyed fishing and watching football. He was especially fond of dogs. 

Visiting hours are Wednesday, March 4, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, with a funeral service at 5:00 p.m. from the funeral home. Burial is private.
