Roberta Rossi

Roberta Rossi, 74, died Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Hathaway Manor Extended Care, New Bedford after a brief illness.

Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Bernard and Helen (Pietrzykowski) Rossi, Roberta lived in the New Bedford area her entire life.

She was the director of nursing at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston and St. Luke’s Hospital, New Bedford.

Roberta enjoyed travelling, theatre, cats, crafts, knitting, and ceramics. She also loved to help people and was especially fond of spending time with her parents and nephews.

Roberta is survived by her brother, Joseph Rossi of Anchorage, Alaska; and her 2 sisters, Patricia Bachand of Manchester, NH and Pamela Doucette of Manchester, NH.

Her graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Riverside Cemetery, Fairhaven at 12:30 p.m.
