Russell A. Simmons

Russell A. Simmons, 45, died Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River after a brief illness.

Born in New Bedford, the son of Russell A. and Susan (Proulx) Allen, he lived in the city for most of his life.

In his free time, Russell enjoyed working on cars and animals. He especially loved spending time with his family.

Russell is survived by his wife, Marlene; his 3 stepsons, Danny, Jacob, and Myles; his stepdaughter, Miriah; and his brother, Richard Reeves.

He was the brother of the late Scott and Steven Reeves.

Private arrangements were with Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.
