Santos Gonzalez

Santos Gonzalez, 66, died on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in Quakertown, PA after a brief illness.

Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, son of the late Santos and Maria (Bracero) Gonzalez, he lived in Puerto Rico for most of his life.

In his free time, Santos enjoyed watching sports and going to restaurants. He especially loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his eight children, Kenny, Gloria M., Yahaira, Santos III, Maritza, Santos Soel, and Koraima Gonzelez, and Rosita Lawrence; his three brothers, Luis M. and Belman Collazo, and Angel L. Gonzalez; his two sisters, Norma Espinos and Maria A. Gonzalez; several grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. His funeral will be Friday, October 31, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a service at 11:00 a.m. from the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, 559 Mt. Pleasant St., New Bedford.
