Stanislawa "Stasia" (Popielarz) Fejdasz

Boston - Stanislawa "Stasia" (Popielarz) Fejdasz, 92, died Monday, June 9, 2014, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.  She was the wife of Andrzej "Andy" Fejdasz.
     Born in Gdynia, Poland, a daughter of the late Jozef and Mariana (Domijan) Popielarz, she came to this country as a young girl and lived in New Bedford most of her life.  She was employed at Aerovox Corp. in New Bedford and both Pratt and Whitney and JM Ney in CT until her retirement.
     Stasia enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening, and yard sales.  She was a very active and faithful parishioner who gave of her time and love to help out with the many functions of OLPH Church.  She was a member of the Polish American War Veterans Auxilary and the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America.
     Survivors include her husband, Andy; a brother, Stanley Popielarz and his wife, Jeanne of Bedford, NH; and several nieces and nephews.
     She was the sister of the late Stephen Popielarz and Stephanie Rioux.
     Her funeral Mass will be held at 11 A.M.  Thursday, June 12, 2014, in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 235 North Front St., New Bedford.  Visitation and burial are private.
