Stasia (Fiejdasz) Paleczka

Fairhaven – Stasia (Fiejdasz) Paleczka, 98, died Thursday, October 22, 2020 at the Alden Court Nursing Care and Rehabilitation Center of Fairhaven.  She was the wife of the late Stanley Paleczka.
     Born in Dartmouth, daughter of the late Michal and Franciszka (Szczygiel) Fiejdasz, Stasia lived in New Bedford most of her life.  She was employed as an office clerk at  Aerovox until her retirement.
     Stasia was a member of the Polish Women’s Auxiliary.
     She is survived by 1 son, Vincent Paleczka of Florida; 2 daughters, Alice Gadomski of North Dartmouth and Frances Monteiro of New Bedford; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
     She was the sister of the late Andrzej Fiejdasz, Michal Fiejdasz, Stanley Fiejdasz, Edward Fiejdasz, Mary Cierpial and Stella Kosior.
     Visitation is 10:00 to 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 27, 2020, with a prayer service at 11:00 A.M. at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.  Burial will follow in the Polish National Catholic Cemetery.
