Steven Amaral

Steven Amaral, 68, died Sunday, November 5, 2023 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. He was the husband of Sandra A. (Carreiro) Amaral.

Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Frank, Sr. and Eva (Cardoza) Amaral, Steven lived in the city for his entire life. He was a former member of the Panthers Athletic and Social Club.

In his free time, Steven enjoyed camping, cruising and watching sports.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; his son, Dominic Amaral and his fiancé, Tyler Lavoie; his stepsons, Joseph Sousa and his fiancé, Courtney, and Thomas Sousa and his fiancé, Brittney; his son, Steve O' Brien; his daughter, Amy O' Brien; his sister, Cynthia Medeiros and her husband, John David; and several nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Frank Amaral, Jr.
