Susan C Oliveira

Susan was 77 when she passed away in the company of family. Following a recent illness.

Sue was born in Rochester, Massachusetts. The first child of Edward A. Gonet and Lucy P. Gonet (Mosakowski).

A 1966 graduate of New Bedford High School.

She is predeceased by her parents, husband (Robert Oliveira), and brother (Edward A. Gonet Jr.)

She is survived by her son (Lance Oliveira), a brother, nephews (and their beautiful wives), cousins (and their children), and many wonderful grand nephews and nieces.

The burial will be private. A memorial service will be announced at a future date.

Sue had a passion for showing Morgan horses and German Shepherd dogs, for which she won many awards.

As a youth, Sue was a member of a Polish dance organization. Performing in authentic Polish dances. She was a good source for where to buy the best Polish foods and ingredients.

She worked with her husband and son in a family advertising firm for many years.

An active member in the church. Always available to take family and friends to medical appointments.

Sue died on Sunday afternoon, June 8, 2025.

Private arrangements were with Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.
