Teodosia Rosario-Rodriguez

New Bedford – Teodosia Rosario-Rodriguez, 102, died Thursday, April 4, 2019, at St. Luke’s Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Venito Gerena.
     Born in Manati, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Marcos Rosario and Maria Rodriguez and lived in New Bedford for over 20 years.  She was a homemaker.
     A very strong and hard-working woman, Teodosia even bought her own home.  She also worked in various hospitals.
     She is survived by 1 daughter, Brunilda Gerena-Rosario; 6 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.
     Visitation is 5 – 8 P.M., Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.  Her funeral is Thursday, 10 – 11 A.M. with a service at 10:30 A.M. in the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.  For condolences, visit www.machnowskifuneral.com.
