Tony Machado Rodrigues

Ellsinore, MO - Tony Machado Rodrigues, 55, died Monday, July 4, 2016 at home.
     Born in Fortuna, CA, the son of the late Jose and Susan (Aldrich) Rodrigues, he grew up in New Bedford before residing in Missouri.
     Tony enjoyed fishing, gardening, raising chickens and old western movies.  He especially loved a good cup of coffee.
     He was a U.S. Army veteran.
     Survivors include 2 daughters, Amber Padgett of South Carolina and Nicole Gruden of Texas; 1 son, Dan Swaney of Pennsylvania; 2 granddaughters; 3 brothers, Joe Rodrigues of Halifax, John Rodrigues of Carver, and Michael Rodrigues of Tennessee; 2 sisters, Angela Bell of California, and Theresa Rodrigues of Alabama; several nieces and nephews; his companion, Irene Connell of Missouri, as well as many other family and friends who will miss him.
     Tony was pre-deceased by his son, Tony Rodrigues, and his sister, Diane Rodrigues of New Bedford.
     His visiting hours are 8 - 9:30 A.M., Monday, July 11, 2016, with a service at 9:30 A.M. at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.  Burial with honors will follow in MA National  Cemetery, Bourne.  For condolences, please visit www.machnowskifuneral.com.
