Wanda (Wesoly) Josefek

New Bedford – Wanda (Wesoly) Josefek, 101, died Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Care One at New Bedford.  She was the wife of the late Alfred P. Josefek.
     Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Mrozek) Wesoly, she lived here all her life.  She was a homemaker.
     Wanda was a communicant of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
     She enjoyed music and dancing, and especially spending time with her family.  
     She lived a traditional life, most enjoying the musical career of her husband.
     Survivors include 1 daughter, Mary Wilson and 1 son, Paul S. Josefek, both of New Bedford; 2 grandchildren, Peter and Tanya; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
     Wanda was the sister of the late Sophia Wesoly, Kazimierz Wesoly, and Boleslaw Wesoly.
     Her funeral Mass will be at 10 A.M., Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, New Bedford.  Burial will be private. Please wear masks and practice social distancing.
