Wanda I Rodriguez

Wanda I. Rodriguez, 40, of New Bedford died Monday, November 18, 2024 after a brief illness. She was the wife of Obel Rodriguez.

Born in Humacao, Puerto Rico, daughter of Victor M. and Nilsa I. (Lozada) Sanabria, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.

Wanda was well known for her kind and generous nature. In her free time, she enjoyed music, singing, dancing, and playing bingo. She was also very family oriented and especially loved her children. 

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Ibel Rodriguez and Nilsa Mia Lozada; her 5 brothers, Armando Lozado, Michael Pino, David Cruz, Jorge Ruiz, and Alexis Linares; and several cousins. 

Visiting hours are Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, with a service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery, New Bedford.
