Wanda Serrano Obituary

New Bedford – Wanda Serrano, 55, died Sunday, December 29, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital.  She was the longtime companion of Miguel Muniz.
     Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Candido Serrano and the late Irma Rodriguez.  She was employed as a nurse in Puerto Rico until her illness.  She lived in New Bedford for several years.
    Wanda was a very spiritual, faithful and prayerful woman who loved reading the bible.
     She is survived by her companion, Miguel; 2 daughters, Yazdel Seijo and Ivette Seijo; 1 brother; 4 sisters; 8 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
     She was the mother of the late Karlian Centeno.
     Visitation is 9 – 11 A.M., Monday, January 6, 2020 with a service at 11 A.M. at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.  Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery.
